We are looking for someone who is interested in leading the discussion at our 04 April 2015 meeting. The Nevil Shute book will be Seafarers. It would be great to have someone new lead the group.
If you would be interested in leading the discussion, please let us know by email to email@example.com.
At our next meeting, we will begin a new series of discussion on the life of Nevil Shute Norway. The About Nevil Shute series will include a review of his autobiography, Slide Rule (1954), on 07 February and a review of the excellent biography, Parallel Motion (2011) by John Anderson, on 11 July. Additional information about the life and times of Mr. Norway will be included in the discussion.
Laura Schneider, the US Librarian for the Nevil Shute Norway Foundation, will lead the discussion of Slide Rule. If you are available, you don’t want to miss this meeting. As always, meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month in the Murray Room of the Howe Library in Hanover NH from 2pm – 4pm.
Admission is free and open to all. Please come, even if you have not had a chance to read the book yet. You will find the atmosphere informal, the company friendly and the discussion lively and informative.
The website has been woefully neglected over the past few months as other priorities consumed our available time. The site is now up-dated with more valuable information about the activities of the Dartmouth Chapter of the Nevil Shute Society. We invite you to come back regularly and often over the coming months for much more information and comments about the Society and this great author.
